How can I book my stay at Hotel Ariell?

The Hotel Ariell offers several options. Online on our website via the booking widget, by phone at +43 4239 22 92 or via email to office@hotel-ariell.at

How can bookings be made online?

1. Booking:
You can book your trip immediately using our booking system. After the availability of the rooms has been checked, a form appears with which more detailed information can be requested. As soon as the system has confirmed your booking, you will receive an email message with the effective confirmation including the booking number.

2. Booking requests:
Packages or inquiries with the desired number of rooms exceeding availability cannot be processed directly via the booking system. In this case, we ask you to contact us by email or a phone call regarding your request.

How can I make payments in the hotel?

We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard and debit cards.

What are the cancellation conditions?

Arrival/Departure

How long is the reception available?

The reception is usually opened from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., only by the hour during the seasonal break.

When can I move into the room on the day of arrival (check-in)?

Your room will be available from 2:30 p.m. on the day of arrival.

Until what time is it possible to leave (check-out)?

On the day of departure you can use your room until 10:30 a.m.
We ask for your understanding that you have to refund the bikes and other inventory made available to you by 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure so that the guest arriving on the same day can dispose of them as soon as possible.

Is a later departure possible (late check-out)?

On request at the reception, subject to availability and for an additional fee, you can also leave after 11:00 a.m.

Where can I park my car?

The hotel has its own large car park about 70 meters from the hotel, where our guests can park for free. For arrival and for loading and unloading you are welcome to park in front of the hotel.

Is there luggage storage?

Before moving into your room on the day of arrival and after check-out on the day of departure, you can deposit your luggage safely and free of charge with our reception staff.

Room facilities

Are there barrier-free rooms? How can I book them?

We offer barrier-free rooms which, depending on availability, can be booked directly using our booking form, by phone at +43 4239 22 92 or by email to office@hotel-ariell.at.

Is there a possibility of an extra bed or baby cot in the room?

As we are a family hotel, we of course offer this special service. Please inquire in advance or let reception know when you arrive.

Are the rooms air-conditioned?

No, the rooms are not air-conditioned. However, for the cooler months we do have heating.

Is Wi-Fi available?

We offer our guests free Wi-Fi in the room and in the public areas.

Is there a hair dryer in the room?

Each bathroom is equipped with a hair dryer.

Is there a refrigerator in the room?

In our hotel there is a refrigerator in each room.

Is there a safe in the room?

Each room is equipped with a safe.

Is there a phone in the room?

Each room is equipped with a direct dial telephone.

Is there a minibar in the room?

Our rooms and suites are usually not equipped with minibars.

Catering

When can I come to the breakfast buffet?

Our breakfast buffet opens daily at 7.45 a.m. and is available until 10.00 a.m.

When can I come for dinner?

Our dinner takes place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. We ask you to appear for dinner by 7:30 p.m. If you do not make it by 8:00 p.m., we request that you notify us ahead of time.

What does half-board PLUS mean?

If you book half-board PLUS, selected drinks are included between 6:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Our restaurant team will inform you about the included drinks (beer, wine, soda, juices and table water) and how you can get them (practical and uncomplicated self-service).

Which table do I have in the restaurant?

On the evening of your arrival day, a table will be reserved for you and you will be instructed by our restaurant team.

Are there vegetarian and/or vegan dishes?

Our multi-course evening meals always include at least one vegetarian main course. We are happy to prepare vegan dishes if you let us know in good time before your arrival.

I am allergic to certain foods – do I get suitable dishes?

Yes. Our kitchen offers a selection of alternatives for people with allergies and food intolerances, such as gluten-free and lactose-free products. We will be happy to prepare the dishes if you let us know in good time before your arrival.

Is the tap water drinking water?

Yes absolutely! Thanks to the many high and mineral-rich mountains, the tap water in our region is excellent drinking water.

Leisure time

Can I rent bicycles at the hotel?

For each unit you have booked, you will receive 2 e-bikes for free use for the duration of your stay. We kindly ask you to rent or return these bikes between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. or 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. If additional bikes are needed, you can rent bikes and e-bikes for a fee by the day or by the week at reception.

Can I bring my own bike?

Yes, of course. You can keep it in front of the hotel or in the bicycle garage. We ask you to lock your bike in the assigned bike garage in the evening in order to maintain insurance cover.

How do I get an e-scooter?

Depending on availability and notification at reception, e-scooters can be rented for a fee of € 12 per day. If you do not want to use the free e-bike offer, you will receive an e-scooter instead.

Does the hotel have its own beach?

Yes, the beach with its own jetty and beach bar is 1,200 meters from the hotel. The use of the beach is included for hotel and apartment guests. You can use the beach from 2:30 p.m. on the day of arrival and until 10:30 a.m. on the day of departure. We ask for your understanding for this regulation, as it enables us to avoid large gatherings of people on the beach/jetty.

Does the hotel have its own swimming pool?

Only guests who have booked the “Apartments” category can use the swimming pool at the apartment complex.

Is there a fitness or wellness area?

Hotel and apartment guests can use the fitness studio free of charge. The infrared cabin can be used for a fee and can be booked in advance at reception. If you would like to receive a massage (according to the price list), we ask you to reserve an appointment by registering in advance at the reception.

General questions

Does the hotel have an elevator?

Yes, the main building of the hotel has an elevator and is barrier-free. If you need an elevator, we kindly ask you to let us know when making your request so that we can reserve a room for you in the main wing, subject to availability.

Are special requests feasible? E.g. feather-free pillows or allergy-free rooms?

We always try to fulfill our guests’ wishes. Please contact us and let us know your requirements. For allergy sufferers: 90% of our rooms are equipped with parquet or laminate floors.

Is smoking permitted in the hotel?

No, smoking is not permitted in any of the hotel’s buildings. Smoking is however permitted on the balcony attached to the room. Please use the ashtray provided to dispose of your cigarette/cigar.

Is there a laundry and ironing service?

No, but you can use our laundromat by prior arrangement at reception. Iron and ironing board can be borrowed free of charge, subject to availability.

Are animals allowed?

Your pet (dog, cat) is welcome to come into the hotel if you let us know when you make your reservation. A cleaning fee of € 15 per night will be charged for this. We ask you to take care of the food for your four-legged friend yourself. We ask for your understanding that your pet may not be taken into the restaurant.

Are there deposits to be paid for on site?

Since we provide you with many different utensils/devices during your holiday, we ask that you leave a € 10 deposit in each of the following cases: safe key, key for bathroom box, bike lock.
A deposit of € 20 each is to be paid for the free bike and the beach card for public bathing beaches in the municipality of St. Kanzian. The receipt for the bike must be countersigned by means of a disclaimer. You will receive all deposits back when you return the items.
